Protect Your Boat

Be informed before choosing your hauler!

If you are obtaining several quotes from other haulers, please be sure they are legal ones. Many sites have illegal haulers bidding on their loads. Most consumers do not realize that in the US it is illegal to haul anything for hire without having operating authority from the DOT.

Be informed! Check their MC # (motor carrier) out at www.safersys.org make sure their authority is active and their liability and cargo insurance is on file. Verify their insurance as well. Ask them for a copy. You as the customer are responsible for whom you let carry your item and any fines resulting in the item being impounded by DOT is up to you to pay to get your item back. If they aren't legal, it's not worth the risk just to save a few hundred bucks on the haul.

Many of our clients use our transport service again and again, and recommend Christine Transport to their friends as top notch. We at Christine Transport welcome the chance to try to earn your business. Our prices are very competitive and we guarantee that your experience with Christine Transport will be professional, quick and secure.

1. OAL is measured from the tip of the bow to the center of the stern. Include bow pulpits, swim platforms, motor brackets and the length of the motors or out drives in the raised position.
2. OAW (beam) is measured at the widest point of the boat including the rub-rail.
3. OAH is measured from the bottom of the keel to the highest non-removable part of the sailboats.
4. Draft is measured from the bottom of the keel to the water line.

Remember…
1. Light built or racing sailboats can expect some hull indentation from the support pads. These indentations generally disappear when the boat is returned to the water.
2. Keel sailboats may expect some separation where the keel joins the hull. This is not structural damage, but rather is the paint or filler cracking at the joint.
3. We will not be held responsible for damage that occurs from improper preparation of your boat.
